My heart has finally found its home. I had all but given up on ever feeling like I belonged anywhere in California, in spite of having been born there and living all of my life there. I prayed for joy and for an escape from the wilderness in which I found myself for over 6 years. Finally, my husband, my rock, my warrior/knight-in-shining-armor packed a moving truck and our SUV and led me over 1,800 miles to Tennessee.
My mother introduced me to a homesteading lifestyle during the eight years we lived in Northern California- a lifestyle full of canning, gardening, raising our own food, baking our own bread, and purchasing fresh dairy. I am excited and looking forward to re-establishing that lifestyle for myself and my champion husband, and including our kids and grandkids in the homesteading lifestyle, as well. I love my life now. I am experiencing true joy like I haven’t in years! Thank you, Lord, for bringing me home to Tennessee!
