I have always heard the saying, “Quality over quantity,” indicating that producing one thing of high quality was more important than producing a whole bunch of crap. While I agree that success comes from producing high-quality products and providing high-quality services, it is important to recognize that it takes a lot of practice and trial-and-error to get there. In canning, sometimes it takes multiple batches to get the recipe right. In gardening, it might require planting a dozen tomato seed starts to get 2 or 3 healthy, strong, productive plants. Never be afraid of “too much.” Instead, produce all that you can, looking always for improvement to perfect the next product or service and offer the best that you possibly can.
