Some progress made in April, in spite of ongoing thunderstorms, tornados, and flooding. We begun installation of our raised bed garden and got a few preliminary plants in. However, most of the seeds that I sprouted did NOT do well, so I’m going to try and get some stronger starts in the next few weeks and maybe put in some store-bought starts this week or next to get going until my starts are ready. I also, did some direct-sown seeds for carrots, onions, radishes, beets, and spinach, so we will see how much- if any!- of that comes up.

Moving forward into May, there are a few things in the works:

  • Get oven fixed (again!)
  • Finish installing the garden
  • Start new seedlings, vegetable and herb
  • Plant all beds
  • Create blood pressure tincture
  • Create liver/kidney support/detox tincture
  • Get doghouse and porch fence installed for fenced yard
  • Sew 1 apron
